This Policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

1. Information We Collect

You provide:

• Account & contact info (name, email, phone, property address/ZIP);
• Subscription & billing info (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers);
• Property-issue details you submit (issue type, urgency, description);
• Communications with us.

Collected automatically:

• Device/usage data, IP address, approximate location, pages viewed, referrer, UTMs (via Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, and similar);
• Session activity — Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used (clicks, scrolling, and session replay) to help us improve the site;
• Cookies and similar technologies.

Call tracking: When you call a tracked number, we log the calling number, time, duration, and the source page. Calls may be recorded only where lawful and disclosed; we will tell you at the start of a call if it is recorded.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide and operate the Service (hotline support, contractor matching, membership benefits);
• Process subscriptions and prevent fraud;
• Match and route you to appropriate independent contractors;
• Improve the Service and measure marketing;
• Communicate with you (service messages always; marketing only with consent);
• Comply with law.

3. Legal Bases (where applicable)

Performance of our contract with you; your consent (marketing, call recording); our legitimate interests (security, improvement); and legal obligations.

4. How We Share Information

• With contractors you ask to be connected to — we share the details needed to serve you (name, contact, property location, issue). Contractors are independent controllers of the data we pass to them.
• With service providers (Stripe for billing, Resend for email, Twilio for calls/SMS, hosting/analytics) under contract, for the purposes above.
• For legal/safety reasons or in a business transfer (merger/acquisition).
• We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. Marketing & Your Choices (TCPA/CAN-SPAM)

• We send service communications necessary to your subscription.
• Marketing calls/texts/emails only with your consent; consent is not required to purchase.
• Opt out of texts by replying STOP; opt out of emails via unsubscribe; or email hello@precheckpros.com to manage preferences.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and analytics (Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity) to understand usage, including heatmaps and session replay. You can control cookies via your browser settings.

7. Data Retention & Security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards; no method is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict your data, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise rights, contact hello@precheckpros.com; we will verify and respond as required by law.

• California (CCPA/CPRA):rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale/share”; no discrimination for exercising rights.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this Policy; material changes will be notified via the Service or email.
